Some Creatives need More than Music Lessons

Learn from a mentor

as you create in the studio

and collaborate with your peers.

The encouraging community and

leadership development combination is unique.

For some, it's life-changing.

Studio Performance Path

Do you know any young musicians who don't really come alive in their school band, choir, or orchestra? Often not classical, concert or jazz band musicians, they may write, sing, or help lead a band outside of school but don't have a mentor to help prepare them for a more successful future.

They are creatives. They are often leaders. And they need a mentor who sees them.

MusicianNYC's Studio Performance Path for singers, songwriters, and musicians, prepares young creatives to collaborate and thrive as musicians and leaders.

The Studio Performance Path
is more than lessons...

- 3-month courses for
high school students

- designed for singers, guitarists,
pianists, & singer-songwriters

- 9 private lessons with
a producer in the studio
- 3 small group workshops with fellow
  singers, songwriters, and musicians
- 1 professional recording
revealing your future sound
- 2 written assessments and advice
for next steps

- free in-person consultation
at the studio required
(includes free assessment)

"Dave is not only an extremely accomplished musician, but also an excellent role model, mentor and teacher who continually seeks to encourage those around him to be the best they can be. I know of very few musicians who are as well-rounded, while maintaining a wonderful mix of humility and concern for others."

Lisa Prokopowitz, MT-BC, ACC (music therapist, songwriter, performer)

"Dave Edwards is easily the most gifted multi instrumentalist I have ever heard. In addition to a remarkably rich and moving tenor voice, any band would be lucky to have him as their sole Drummer, Guitarist, Pianist or Bassist. To be able to play brilliantly on both a conceptual and technical level on four separate and demanding instruments and also play well on fiddle, dulcimer and other instruments is a marvel to behold."

Rob Mathes, producer/arranger (Sting / Springsteen / Lou Reed / Yo-Yo Ma / Renee Flemming)
